Unit Converter & Calculator

Conversion and calculation content is processed on your device. We do not require an account and do not operate a server that receives your calculations. The Android app uses Google AdMob; the paid iOS app contains no advertising SDK.

1. Scope

This policy applies to Unit Converter & Calculator, including the Android application with package name com.aibirch.unit_converter_calculator and the paid iOS application.

2. Information processed by the app

The app processes the values you enter to perform conversions and calculations. This processing occurs locally on your device.

The app may store the following locally on your device:

theme preferences;
saved conversion favorites;
calculation or conversion history where that feature is available; and
the expiry time of an Android rewarded ad-free period.

We do not receive this locally stored content. You can remove it by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

3. Android advertising

The Android version uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to display banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads. Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as your IP address, advertising identifier, device information, app interactions, ad interactions, and diagnostic information. An approximate location may be inferred from information such as an IP address. This data is processed under Google's own terms and policies and may be used to provide, personalize, measure, and protect advertising services, depending on your region and settings.

4. Paid iOS version

The paid iOS version does not initialize or include Google Mobile Ads and does not display advertising. Its conversions, calculations, favorites, history, and theme preferences remain on the device.

5. Permissions and device access

On Android, internet and network-state access support advertising, and vibration access supports optional haptic feedback. The current app does not request access to your contacts, photos, precise location, microphone, or camera for its conversion and calculator features.

6. Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell personal information. On Android, information may be processed by Google and its advertising partners as described above. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.

7. Data retention

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, clear app storage, or uninstall the app. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google's policies and your Google advertising settings.

8. Your choices and rights

Clear app storage or uninstall the app to delete local app data.
Use your Android or Google settings to reset or delete your advertising ID and manage ad personalization.

9. Children

The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.

10. Security

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information. However, no device, storage system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

11. This policy page

This page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit it, Cloudflare may process standard web request information such as IP address, browser information, and security logs under Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app, service providers, or legal requirements change. The revised effective date will be shown at the top of this page.
